International midsize company based in Munich

We are looking for a Team Manager (m/f/d) IT Operations & Support DACH region who will lead a team with currently 4 employees. Place of work will be Munich.

Ihre Aufgaben

Responsibilities/tasks:

  • Planning, set up and management of the IT Operations & Support Team
  • Ensures support and service quality for the internal customers, in the day-to-day business and in case of critical issues (escalations)
  • Plan, build and run the required operations and support infrastructure (e.g. helpdesk tool, IT monitoring, reporting tools etc.)
  • Ensures – in liaise with the European peers – the development and implementation of European standards regarding IT architecture, operations & support, organisation, SLA KPIs and processes
  • Ensures communication and documentation of all IT operations & support matters
  • Ensures security policies were applied and are in place (in liaise with the Security and Data Protection officers)
  • Continuous improvement of the operations and support organisation, processes and tools – according to business and customer requirements
  • Define and implement standard IT procurement processes

Ihr Profil

Requirements:

  • Experience in setting up and managing a team or proven capabilities to be able to manage a team
  • Real life experience with setting up and working with operations & support organisations, roles and processes (e.g. based on ITIL)
  • Customer service skills, able to create and maintain relationships with internal customers
  • Experience in 1st, 2nd and 3rd level incident/problem resolution (on phone, by email or ticket)
  • Comprehensive overall technical and theoretical knowledge of today’s end-to-end infrastructure IT stack, like Windows server (2016 and above), Active Directory (on premise and Azure), Microsoft Exchange (O365) and SQL Server (2008 and above), Storage (on premise and cloud based), Backup (on premise and off premise), virtualisation (Microsoft HyperV) and networking (LAN/WAN)
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud Platform, Office365 and Azure (IaaS)
  • Experience in working in an ITIL environment
  • Experience in managing multi-cloud-based infrastructure and providers
  • Experience in planning, building and running PC/Laptop configuration management and automatic software deployment environment (Microsoft Windows 10, macOS)
  • Experience in planning, building and running a mobile device management (iOS, Android; total of about 700 devices)
  • English fluent
