General Conditions
- Fixed fees
We agree on a fee for direct search and for pre-selection of executives and specialists based on the planned total annual compensation of the recruitee. A fixed fee will be agreed regardless of the salary negotiated with the candidate.
- Part payment
The fee will be payable in three installments: one-third at the beginning of the search, one-third upon the written presentation of the first candidates and the final third after a presented candidate has signed the contract. The fee for a placement of two similar vacancies -in case the combined search is possible- will be payable in four installments: one quarter at the beginning of the search, the second quarter upon written presentation, the third quarter after the first candidate has signed the contract, the last quarter after the second presented candidate has signed the contract.
- Termination of the project
A project is deemed to have been terminated by the client if the position is filled with a candidate whom we have not presented or if the client no longer wished to fill the position. If at least one year is elapsed since the beginning of the search and the client has rejected at least ten presented candidates, then the project will also be considered to have been terminated by the client. In these cases we charge half of the agreed and not yet billed fee.
- After placement
In case the employment of one of our presented candidate’s ends during the first six months after the beginning of the contract - regardless who initiated it- or the candidate who has signed the contract does not start the job, we present further suitable candidates free of charge if a fee as per our usual conditions have been agreed.
- Affiliated companies
Wenn unser Auftraggeber einen von uns präsentierten Kandidaten an ein verbundenes Unternehmen weitervermittelt, und dieser dort eingestellt wird, behandeln wir den Fall in der Honorarabrechnung so, als wäre der Kandidat von unserem Auftraggeber direkt eingestellt worden.
- Multiple placements
If additional candidates presented by us related to a position are employed by our client to fill other vacancies, we will charge half the fee agreed upon each additional recruitee.
- Proactive application
If a candidate proactively presented by us without an initial search agreement has been employed, we charge -unless something different has been arranged- a one-off fixed fee.
- Travel expenses
We will initially accept our travel and other expenses as well as those caused by the candidates travelling to attend the interviews and we will finally charge our client for these expenses on a monthly basis. We will attempt to minimize costs for our client by combining travel for different assignments.
- Other expenses
Communications costs in connection with job advertisements, rejection letters etc. will be invoiced separately. The fee does not included costs for job advertisements published at the client’s request or costs for assessments performed at the client’s request. These costs will be invoiced separately.
